PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION

For the community, for the future.

The Sefer and Süheyla Ekşi Foundation for Social Solidarity, Education, Health and Culture (SESEV) was established to provide scholarships to students who would otherwise be denied an education for financial reasons, to offer social assistance, and to foster a culture of solidarity in the community.

We believe education is every individual’s right, and we work to secure access to it, to improve its quality and to make opportunity more equal.

WHAT WE DO

How we help

• 01Scholarship support for students, assessed on family circumstances, academic performance and social need.
• 02Books, stationery and clothing so that schooling can continue uninterrupted.
• 03Food, clothing and fuel assistance for families in need.
• 04Education and rehabilitation programmes for people with disabilities and disadvantaged groups.
• 05Support for educational institutions, and community projects in culture, the arts and health.
